Update
Well, after much figuring, I know how to remove my PTO unit.

The winch driveline U joints have to be destroyed. After sitting for at least 10 years in the open, any clips, caps, or otherwise are rusted tight or gone- and I couldnt find any to start with. Therefore, I shall take the Sawzall and cut the joint at every place it goes into an ear on the driveshaft.

Or, I could just cut the driveshaft and have a replacement made.

First I have to find a source of replacement winch U joints.

Just found your entry off the 2a page. For semi-local parts and a wealth of info on stock and after market parts, try contacting John Krage in Savannah TN. His store is Krage Motorsports. When it comes time for a top, I've found an alum. top off a 2a in Chester Co. that I scrounged the inner windshield frame out of. It would need some work but the price might be right.
